Energia Group, a leading renewable energy investor and operator across Ireland, commissioned BladeBridge to give new life to a turbine blade removed during maintenance in late 2020 at Meenadreen Wind Farm. The 25m blade has been transformed into a welcoming rest point along the popular Leghowney Loop walking trail. The project includes a striking 9-metre sculptural bench with integrated picnic tables, alongside a memorial sculpture and shelter dedicated to Jimmy Kelly, a key member of the original Meenadreen operations.
