Achill Shelters

Twin bike parking and picnic table shelters located in Achill Sound at the gateway to the Achill Greenway.

Each shelter repurposed a full 20-metre Bonus B39 blade sourced from Barnesmore Wind Farm, Donegal. The structures were engineered for durability in Mayo’s harsh coastal weather, providing covered bike parking and incorporating a side viewing window so parents can easily supervise children at the adjacent playground.

BladeBridge partnered with Energia Group to repurpose a decommissioned blade at Meenadreen Wind Farm into a memorial and walking-trail seating feature in south Donegal.
